Australian-Made Car Mats

Australian-made car mats, engineered in Campbellfield

Every LUXMAT car mat is designed, moulded and finished at our Campbellfield, Victoria factory by Ultimate Auto Co. When you buy a set of LUXMAT mats, you’re buying Australian-made manufacturing precision rather than imported one-size-fits-all stock.

The business is built on more than 35 years of hands-on experience producing OEM-grade automotive mats locally. We make in Australia because controlling design, fit data, materials and finishing in-house is the only way to deliver a level of fit and finish the imported aftermarket can’t match.

Why Australian-made matters for car mats

Our coil rubber compound is engineered for Australian heat, UV and humidity ranges. Imported PVC mats can stiffen and crack at 40°C in a closed cabin. Carpet mats hold the smell of a wet 4WD trip for weeks. LUXMAT stays flexible and washable through every Aussie summer and ute-tray winter.

Local manufacturing means we update fitments as new vehicles arrive in Australia — we don’t wait six months for an overseas factory to add the latest Ranger PHEV or Tucson Hybrid. Every set is engineered from current OEM reference data, including variant-specific details like dual-cab versus single-cab and captain’s seat versus bench.

Warranty claims, fit questions and replacement orders are handled directly by our Victorian factory, not a generic overseas call queue. Your money stays in Australia and so does the team that backs the product.

35+ years of OEM vehicle-fit engineering

Ultimate Auto Co. has been engineering vehicle-fit components in Australia for over three decades. OEM-grade isn’t a marketing tag for us — it’s how the team has always worked. Each LUXMAT set is built to the same precision standards the original-equipment factory uses for the floor mats that ship with a new car.

In practice that means current vehicle data per make, model and year. Recognising the difference between a Ford Ranger XL Single Cab and an XLT Dual Cab PHEV. Recognising that an EV6 GT 2026-onward has different rails to an EV6 GT 2024-2026. The kind of variant-level detail you only catch when you’ve been building to OEM tolerances for a generation.

From CAD to your boot

Every LUXMAT set runs through the same four-step process at our Campbellfield facility. It starts with advanced 3D CAD scanning to capture the exact contours of each vehicle’s floor pan, including pedal-area clearance and clip-point alignment.

From there, coil rubber sheets are cut to vehicle-specific contours using CAD-operated cutting technology, finished by hand, then inspected for fit and edge integrity before they leave the floor. Each set ships flat to protect its shape, direct from our factory to your boot.

LUXMAT car mats are designed, moulded, cut and finished at our Campbellfield, Victoria facility. Every set is manufactured in Australia by Ultimate Auto Co. We don’t import finished mats — manufacturing happens in-house, so we control fit and quality directly.

OEM-grade means each set is engineered to the same precision standards a vehicle manufacturer uses for original-equipment floor mats. Ultimate Auto Co. has more than 35 years of OEM vehicle-fit experience. Each LUXMAT set uses current OEM reference data per make, model and year — including variant-specific details like Mach-E versus ICE, captain’s seat versus bench, dual-cab versus single-cab — so it matches the factory clip points and floor contours exactly.

Three reasons. First, climate: our coil rubber compound is engineered for Australian heat, UV and humidity ranges. Imported PVC and carpet mats can stiffen, crack or hold odours under those conditions. Second, fit data: producing locally means we update fitments as new models land in Australia rather than waiting for an overseas factory. Third, support: warranty claims, fit questions and replacement orders go directly to our Victorian factory.

We manufacture in Australia using a coil rubber material sourced for durability, flexibility and recyclability. While not every raw input is domestic, the engineering, moulding, cutting, quality control, packing and dispatch all happen at our Campbellfield facility — and our profit, jobs and warranty support stay in Australia.
